Falafel in pita wrap
This is the
tastiest no-meat sandwich ever! Absolutely no doubt. Plus, it has the protein
boost from the chick peas and eggs!!! French fries are a must in this at our
home. After all, we are REALLY potato lovers here!!!
I follow
this recipe for the falafel and the tahini sauce/ taratoor sauce.
It is the best I have found so far. These falafels can be fried and frozen too. The crispness does go down a bit when reheated- use your oven to reheat. But it doesn’t matter in a sandwich.
I made
French fries in Tefal Acti-fry, as usual. Bought the pitas. I had the falafel
ready in the freezer. So, the work was to get the sauce, eggs and veggies
ready. You can scramble the eggs or hard boil and slice them. Wash the
cucumbers, tomatoes and parsley well. Cut the cucumbers thin. Dice tomatoes and
chop parsley fine. Fill your pita with all the yummy fillings and enjoy a fabulous,
filling wrap.
