One bowl scrambled eggs in 5 minutes

One bowl scrambled eggs in 5 minutes

Scrambled eggs are one of our favorite breakfasts. Of all the different methods I have tried out, microwaving is the easiest, quickest and the BEST!!!  And you know what???  You need to dirty just one bowl from start to end.  Truly, this is the ideal breakfast for a lazy day.

In a medium microwave safe casserole dish with lid, microwave 2 tbsp. butter for 30 seconds. Keep the lid on to prevent possible spluttering. Take the bowl out. Add eggs, milk, salt and pepper and beat lightly with a fork. Cover and microwave for 2 minutes. Take out and stir. Place the lid back on and microwave again for 1 ½ to 2 minutes. Keep the bowl covered for 2 more minutes and let stand as the eggs keep cooking. You may reduce or increase the cooking time depending on how ‘well cooked’ you want your eggs to be. Keep in mind that different microwaves cook at different paces. So, adjust timing for your microwave. That’s it. Done!!!
