Apple- pear crumble
Oat meal is
the best alternative to any boxed up cereal. It is tasty in a healthy way. But
it gets tiring after a while. So, we step it up with baked oatmeal or even
fruit crumbles. This time I have used apples and pear. Strawberries are our favourites too.
Preheat the
oven to 200°c. Coat
a 9 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper. Peel,
core and slice the apples and pears. Combine sliced fruits with sugar and flour
and put inside the pan. Take all the oatmeal, flour, butter and all the crumble
ingredients in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse till the mixture looks like
coarse bread crumbs. Sprinkle the topping on the fruit and bake for 30 minutes.
Serve with cold milk for a sweet breakfast or with vanilla ice cream for a
yummy dessert!
