Kabab roll / Kabab in pita wrap

Kabab roll / Kabab in pita wrap

This is a fusion sandwich. Tasty kababs, French fries and coriander-mint chutney wrapped in Arabian pita!!! What more can a true foodie ask for?

This is a good picnic food too. There is no liquid dressing involved and nothing gets mushy.

I have already done a post on how to make kababs.  Whenever I make these, I used to freeze the ground kabab mix. Now, I have found that these kababs freeze extremely well even after frying. So, double or triple kabab recipe for these sandwiches.

The coriander- mint chutney was so easy to make. I had frozen fresh, grated coconut. Grind it coarsely in your food processor with a big bunch of coriander leaves, handful mint leaves, 3-4 green chillies, juice of a lemon and salt.

We made French fries in Tefal, Acti-fry. That is one awesome low-fat way to make French fries. The pitas were store-bought.  Fill your pita with all the yummy fillings and enjoy a very flavourful wrap.
